Sun Valley Watershed Management Plan (2004)
The Sun Valley Watershed Management Plan is a planning document developed by the Los
Angeles County Department of Public Works, along with the Stakeholders, to solve the
chronic local flooding problem in the Sun Valley Watershed with a multi-purpose
solution.
The Plan includes a description of the existing conditions of the Sun Valley Watershed
and
potential projects that focus on reducing local flooding, increasing water
conservation,
increasing recreational opportunities, increasing wildlife habitat and improving water
quality.
The Plan was adopted by the County of Los Angeles Board of Supervisors in June 2004.
Sun Valley Watershed Management Plan— Program Environmental Impact Report (2004)
The Program Environmental Impact Report for the Sun Valley Watershed Management Plan
is a
document presenting the results of an analysis of the environmental effects of the Sun
Valley Watershed Management Plan. The Report provides a summary of the impacts related
to
the implementation of the Sun Valley Watershed Management Plan along with potential
mitigation measures.
The Program Environmental Impact Report
was adopted by the County of Los Angeles Board of Supervisors in June 2004.
2013 Addendum
An Addendum to the Program Environmental Impact Report was adopted by the County of Los Angeles Board of Supervisors in October 2013.
2020 Addendum
An Addendum to the Program Environmental Impact Report was adopted by the County of Los Angeles Board of Supervisors in November 2020. The Notice of Determination was filed on December 2, 2020.
